Have you seen this beautiful post that was curated by Vicki from Simply Hue? She chose two different color schemes for Christmas; Jolly Traditional and Soothing Elegance. Which one are you?
I think I am going to go with soothing elegance this year. Even though I have a lot of green in my home I really like these muted soft tones with warm shades of brown. So beautiful! You can see the complete post HERE>>

I think I'd do the soothing elegance but still throw in some red (just tiny bits) cause it reminds me of Santa!!!!! - I don't want him to forget me this year ;-)

Ooooh they both look good! I have to admit, I think I am going to try silver and purple this year....maybe a little bit of green here and there. If I had free reign i'd probably go crazy with colour but I guess I should tone it down....a little :P
Thanks for the follow, your blog is gorgeous so I'm following you back - I want to see what more gorgeous (or rather 'lovely') things you produce :)

Hi Rachel, both palettes are lovely but I think I'm leaning towards the traditional palette. Red and green are such festive colours! :)

I saw her post up yesterday & loved it! I'm still deciding, but I think I'm going with a natural look this year, but still mixing in a little red (for cheer).

Thanks for following me! I love your blog as well!

And I am so jealous you live in Maui. I spent two weeks there for my honeymoon (with the ex) and I can't wait to go back. =)

I have no clue what I'm going to do yet. I usually get everything ready after Thanksgiving. I've got a few weeks to figure it all out.

These are fun. I love greens and white. Can't get enough. Add in some browns and a muted cranberry here or there. Can't believe it is just around the corner. Time does fly.
      Thanks -

oh I really can't believe Christmas is coming soon... last year I had black, golden brown and white decorations all around the flat and on the Xmas tree and I loved it... I think I'll do the same this year.
      have a lovely day, xoxo

I am a color person, so I love the left grouping. Both are beautiful!!

They are both beautiful! But like Karen, I'd go for soothing elegance and add bits of red.

i love the white decor...so chic!
but for me, it would have to be red, green and gold. i guess i'm more traditional than i want to admit!
