DIY - Pretty Little Jotters

For my first DIY on the blog I wanted to start with something I am already familiar with. I used to make these a lot with vintage wallpaper and taught myself how to make them through trial and error. I used them for gifts and people really seemed to like them. They are great to stick in your purse when you need to jot something down.

I like this project because you can really get creative with different paper and colored ribbon. I got the paper from Michaels for this project but you can use anything you want like newspaper, sheet music, wallpaper etc.

You will need:

• Pretty Paper cut to 7" x 3"
• 6 Sheets of White Office Paper cut to 6-3/4" x 2-7/8"
• Adhesive ribbon cut to 7" 
• Scissors
• Stapler
• Ruler
• Pencil

Step 1: Cut your paper and ribbon to sizes mentioned above.

Step 2: Fold your paper in half
Step 3: Place the white paper inside the pretty paper
Step 4: Staple the top near the fold on the left and the right

Step 5: Attach the adhesive ribbon on the back side of the jotter 3/4" in
Step 6: Continue to wrap the ribbon around the jotter and voila you have a cute little jotter! :)
