Guest Post: Dreams of Venice

I have to admit I’m a little jealous of Rachel’s trip to Italy. I’ve been fascinated with Venice ever since I read The Passion by Jeanette Winterson when I was in college. I haven’t visited Venice (yet), but when I imagine it, I think of all of the watery greens of the canals against the textures and colors of centuries-old buildings. Gorgeous!

  3. Gorgeous photos! We visited Venice this summer. The city truly lives up to the hype. But my favorite is the nearby island of Burano.
