    inspiring spaces
I am quite attracted to this home but I think it would be a bit too dark for me. How about you? Could you live here?

It is beautiful, but it's too dark for me...I love de very first photo!

Very beautiful. Maybe if I lived somewhere sunny I would welcome the cool dark colours but in grey old England I need light, light, light!

I guess the white accents help a bit, it is not all dark. I love the white marble fire surrond, and the white flowers. But overall, a little dark for me...maybe I am not bold enough? Thanks for great post!

it's gorgeous and sophisticated, but i think it would be too dark for me too. there's something about the sun shining through a window in a light or white room that just brightens up my mood.

I agree, very lovely....really nice actually, but too dark for me.

Its spooky to me. I need light and more color! I do, however, like the slate gray walls.

Nice picture! I like the grey wall in the first room and the pendant light as well but as a white lover :) I couldn't live here ...

IT is pretty dark, but I think I could be persuaded ;) Love how they've used the white accents in some of the rooms to lighten it up a lot.

Living in the pacific northwest, like loveandlilac I get enough dark and grey outside. Leave for work at the edge of dawn, drive home in the dark, grey clouds fill the skies in between... MUST have light home space :P

Love your color inspiration pages. Amazing what kind of cool palettes can be had just by sampling spots in a good photo.

I have to agree with loveandlilac above it is absolutely beautiful but here in England it is a huge no, no, sadly. I must say that kitchen looks very calming to me.

There is something very classy about a dark room, but I don't think its for me either. Maybe brighter walls would do the trick. Love the post!

I could live here. I like the dramatic colours enhancing Autumn energy. Though for some reason I feel the spaces are not finished, I mean, deco I would definitely add.
