  • Pretty Pink Girl Rooms

    inspiring spaces
My husband's aunt and uncle are in town and they are the nicest people to hang out with. We took them around our part of the island and went on my favorite hike swinging bridges yesterday. We had a great time being tourists for a day. :) I think naturally with family the question that comes up is "Are you thinking about having children?" This is a question that we often ask ourselves but basically we aren't quite ready. I am 26 and Ryan is almost 28 and so we are thinking that we will ask ourselves this question in a few years when maybe we will be ready. One thing that my aunt in law said was that raising her children was the best job she ever had and that of course there are good and bad times but she's so happy she did it. I thought that was so touching and will definitely think about what she said when we consider the baby option later in life. For now I will admire these pretty pink girl rooms from a far. :)

Pretty rooms. I completely understand on waiting. We are 29 and 32 and we are just now okay with starting to think about trying to get pregnant.

Ooooh, how I love the picture in the top to the right! I have three boys, and therefore, no bedrooms to decorate in pink, for now (no...no more kiddos!). We're in the process of finishing the basement, which will include a room for me and my sewing (yippee!). That room, I shall decorate in pink, my fav colour!
Thanks for commenting on my blog!

      Lovely + pretty pink room.
I've been thinking about having children as well. But for now I'm on same path. Keep admiring from a distant. ^^

I completely relate with you - my future mother-in-law likes to nudge the topic every chance she gets. But I know she just wants to be a grandmother because of the joy of raising her own two kids. I'm sure you'll be a fabulous mother when the time comes. Anyway.. those dresses in the top left are adorable, and the lower left white room is pure loveliness.

I am a total girl so I love pink for a little girl's room. All those pics are so beautiful. Your aunt sounds like one of those people you want to have in your family. What a sweet post!

Children are great but you have to really be ready and know what it takes to have one before doing it... I have a nice a nephews and really admire my siblings for the great job they are doing at raising them!

I love the second one on the second row. The polk-a-dot and the pillow are so great with the subtle paisley.

      love it .

Such lovely pics Rachel, I wish I had one of those rooms when I was little. I shared a room with my brother until I turned 7, then I got my own room and it was violet and white. I loved it!
