    inspiring spaces
My mom recently changed her office space into a retail space and so we are now starting to create a more shopable retail interior. She sells her beautiful handbags with vintage pins (Hula Gypsy) and she also sells affordable vintage jewelry from the 1940's and most recently vintage apparel! You can say hi to her on her blog at hulagypsy.blogspot.com She has a romantic style to her items and so I think that should reflect that in the interior. Her space is is very long and linear so that has been sort of a challenge. My ideas are to have simple shelves lining the two long walls with small round tables in the middle with a small seating area in the front. I love these shelves from West Elm. Click HERE>> and HERE>> Here are some inspirational images I sent to her to get some spark and ideas going between us.

    Row 1: jonathanadler, jademccullyphotography
    Row 2: Chia Chong, interiordesign
Row 3: HPG, Faire Frou Frou
    Row 4: montgomeryboutique, souchi
    Row 5: issdesigns, HPG
    Row 6: treehousegreengifts, anthropologie

These are beautiful images. I think tables are always more inviting than racks.

How exciting! So cool that you can help your Mom with this. I really like the idea of mixing contemporary with some vintage/antiques...those inspiration pictures are great!!!
