Mellow Monday: Collar Details

There is something so beautiful about these collar details. I love the fabrics and colors and the way the photographer zoomed into the neckline forcing you to look at that part of the apparel. I think I may start to notice pretty collars from now on.

I hope everyone had a nice Valentines Day! We ended up going out to Indian food but it did not turn out the way I expected it to but I tried to make the best of it. I assumed it would be like our other visits but it wasn't so I guess sometimes in life we just have to go with it and I am glad I tried to stay positive because the rest of our night was really nice. We watched Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the ring) and drank rum with hot apple cider. Its been chillier lately which is really nice. This is definitely a great time of year for me. I love the rain and getting to wear sweat pants and sweatshirts is also a plus. I hope these images bring you some calm on your Monday. Have a great one!

  22. The image of the pink polka dots drew me in, it is so classic and intricate. i used to wear boater collars at school and reminded me of that, very in vogue in the 80s- and beautiful it is as well as the blue blouse - just gorgeous!. No valentine's day for us though i went to an ice skating party with my 4 year old with 22 other 4 years olds - woh! I needed something on the lines of a rum and apple cider after that!! My husband's birthday was Valentine's day as well - we are celebrating this Friday instead at a delicious spanish tapas bar in Santa Fe and we can't wait!!
