I need a winter vacation. Just for a week so I can play in the snow and wear really adorable coats with furry hoods. Oh! And I want to wear my cute boots over my jeans again. Santa please buy me a ticket to Portland soon so I can get my winter fix for just one week. Okay? Thanks! Your the best! :)

  I wandered on to my local common at Wimbledon in the first snow of winter here in London and found a fir tree in the middle of the field that someone had decorated and left for all to enjoy.
  It was cold and bleak but heartwarming at the same time.
