  • This home is so pretty it reminds me of a French princess's dollhouse. :) Loving the gray and beige with pops of blue too. A ton of gorgeous details!

  • Love the clean and crisp feel to this beautiful home in California. The colors are vibrant and fun while still keeping it classic and comfortable. There is a nice harmony throughout the spaces as well.

  • This is such a sweet home fit for someone who is romantic and loves vintage. The decor works beautifully with the detailed architecture. I just want to have tea and explore all the knick knacks with a bunch a girlfriends in this house. So fun!

  • Here is another beautiful home found on Shootfactory. I love the colors and the old meets new eclectic style. Fun and gorgeous!

  • I am liking the feel of this home. It doesnt take itself too seriously and each room takes on its own personality while still feeling cohesive throughout. I could definitely spend some serious time here. :)

  • When I first got into Interior Design about 10 years ago I tended to lean towards spaces that were very perfect looking. Color, balance, style, were all very harmonious but when I look at some of these interiors now I think they look too perfect and not as livable. When I was in college studying Interior Design I found that it is harder to create interior spaces that look effortlessly together. I have come to appreciate more room designs that have a lot of character and furniture and decor looks as if it took awhile to accumulate instead of buying everything at once.

  • This New Orleans home just exudes modern elegance. The color scheme, architectural details, mix of furniture styles and artwork really makes this home so beautiful. Such great spaces!

  • Images of the home of Linda Rodin Olio recently caught my eye. I'm still not sure if I like it. I know that I like that it shows Linda's personal style and displays the things that she loves in a fun and entertaining way. I love that its interesting and not at all boring. The style of her home is uniquely hers which we don't see enough of.

  • This gorgeous house is such a great example of using furniture and decor that is new and old and mixing them so it creates this beautiful harmonious space. It is a recently converted 5000sq ft community church hall and has a large main hall with a 3 story high apex roof. So very cool! Love!

  • Just saw this house in my inbox and I am adoring every inch of it! I love how it has this old world charm but still has these clean more modern elements that helps it make it feel less stuffy. Fabulous home!

  • I would love to spend some time in this home on a rainy day. Just beautiful!

  • I am loving the cohesiveness of this beautifully designed home. So many great pieces and ideas throughout!

  • I received new location pictures for the Camberwel house in London via Shootfactory in my email today. I was very happy I opened it! This older home has so much character and warmth and I am really digging the contrast of the dark rich woods with the light grey walls in the bedroom shown below. The house has a really great flow from room to room and I like the consistent style throughout. Beautiful home!

  • My blogging buddy Leigh from hapa | hale just sent me a link to this fabulous article on the New York Times. Its about this sweet little (very little!) cottage that was once a Catskills hunting cabin. It's now a shabby chic Victorian retreat. Love it!
