Featuring: Pamela Majocha

I want to be able to draw like Pamela Majocha. Her faces are so well done. I often find myself struggling with facial features the most so I can definitely appreciate her work. As a drawer what are your strengths and weaknesses?

  1. Oh I always enjoy and find it easy to draw the eyes but can't seem to draw the mouth right...

  4. I don't really consider myself much of a drawer, I'm quite terrible at it honestly. I love her work though, especially the deer in the hair.

  5. The illustrations are gorgeous. My daughters sat for some pencil sketches by a young friend-artist. When we looked at what he drew the mannerisms and body-positioning were very much my girls, but the faces were all his wife...it seems he just could help himself drawing her!

  8. WOW....those are gorgeous...so soft & feminine!

There are no words to describe just how horrible I am at drawing lol...maybe that's why I started just taking pictures instead!

  9. Faces are definitely my weakness, too! I learned in design school that it's good to have your own sketching style when drawing fashion illustrations. I decided my illustrations would be faceless. It was part of my "style", but really it's because I'm terrible at drawing them.

  11. So very beautiful!

I love to draw faces and expressions, my weakness is the background. I'd prefer skipping that part, but, as my art teacher at university said, the background is just as important...
