Mellow Monday: Autumn
I often hear from people who have moved here that they miss the seasons back home. One of our friends misses it so much that he is leaving to go back to Michigan just so he can experience autumn for two weeks. He loves the pumpkin patches, the corn mazes and the haunted houses. Even though I am all grown up those things sounds fun to me to! What are some of your favorite parts about autumn?

Where I live (Crete, Greece) autumn is like a cooler summer! I love the first rain falls in September an the smell of wet grass but unfortunately is not as much as I would enjoy!

I like how there's a chill in the shade, yet still warm in the sun, and when the wind kicks up it reminds me to breathe.

my favourite parts of autumn are pretty much summed up in the imges you've chosen for this post! golden colours, a bit of sharpness in the air and clear, pale light... and, of course: autumn clothes - like nice scarves, woolen sweaters, patterned tights, tall boots and maybe even a hat =)
i know this isn't original, but THE COLORS! i love the colors of autumn. and whoa- MICHIGAN!!! i absolutely love it there... i loved there for 14 years and now that i'm in college, i hardly ever get to go back

Oh my I love so much about it. The air, the smells of spices in the kitchen, the crunch of leaves on the ground. I LOVE IT ALL!
I love going to the farm to pick our pumpkin, to enjoy hot apple cider & cider donuts- it's the absolute perfect fall afternoon!
Without doubt my favorite thing is the leaves. Today, my job has taken me to York Maine. Here fall is also in the crisp wind. I love that too.
