  • Mellow Monday: Play Me a Tune

    green, mellow mondays, photography
Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to listen to some live music. On Friday night our friend came over and brought out our guitar that we hardly ever use. I was able to sit back and relax and listen to his friend and my husband play guitar back and forth. It was quite entertaining and pleasant. On Saturday we went out to one of the irish pubs and listened to a local band that plays electric guitar and they were pretty good. I am hoping to make more of a habit to listening to live music more often and maybe I will pick it up one day. (no pun intended) :)

How about you? Did you have a nice weekend? Was there any music involved?

Oh, I can hear music now. Funny how stimulation of the visual sense can bring memories of other things flooding in to the head. Thanks.

oooh I wish I played the guitar. It's such a relaxing, and romantic instrument. I play piano a little, and I can't exactly take one around with me up on a hill, or to someone's house. Boo.

As usual, these photos are lovely!

I suddenly miss my music so much (though I was a singer, never did learn to play the guitar despite some tries). Beautiful collection of photos.

I wish I got to hear more live music. I'm always saying I want to and never get around to it. And more boyfriend organises gigs for a living so I really have no excuse.

I have this same thing as my resolution. There's nothing quite like going to live shows.
