Anthro Inspired

I was thinking today how much I am influenced by Anthropologie when choosing shops and items for the website and so when I came across this stunning window display via one of my new favorite blogs PassionBird it reminded me how much I really am inspired by their amazinginess. Look at that cluster! ;) Doesnt it just make you happy?

Featured Seller: Olive

Check out these adorable pillows from Olive! I especially love the little house ones.
I admire that a lot of her designs are one of kind and she sounds like such a passionate hard worker which shows in her beautiful pillows and decor. This is what she says on her profile: "Between redecorating our house and my full time job, I spend nearly every other spare second in my sewing room creating items for this shop. I enjoy making my visions come to life as well as mixing and matching colors and patterns. Its all very rewarding that anyone would buy my creations for themselves and for friends. New ideas pop in my head daily and many of my pillows are one of a kind. One day I hope to have more sewing time so the world can see all of my visions! Check back often!"
I love the way she displays her lovely items in a home. It helps you visualize it in your own!

Bread of Many

This week has been so crazy! We have received quite a few requests from sellers to be on the Lovely Clusters online gallery and there are so many beautiful shops to go through! I just finished adding some new sellers and new products to the site and it is really so fun to see it all coming together.
I want to first introduce Haley from Bread of Many. She loves paperie and makes beautiful things so of course she was a great candidate for the site. I am really digging her style and her handmade touch to her products. Arent they fun?!

Lovely Clusters the Online Gallery!

For the past couple of weeks I have been working on a project that showcases artists and designers that carry items that are beautiful and dreamy! The website has a gallery of featured sellers and a product area with links to category and color clusters. Here is an example of a pink color cluster on the site!
I have always wanted to create a website that would be a place for people to go where they can easily find really beautiful creations. Etsy can seem so overwhelming with its vast amount of shops and it can sometimes feel like a flea market where you are rummaging through to find the special shops that you can relate to. I noticed that there are quite a lot of people out there that were having the same issue and so starting up a site that links to my favorite sellers existing etsy or dawanda, etc seemed like the way to go. I wanted to have at least 20 sellers before I announced this exciting new venture and now it is finally here to share with all of you lovely readers! I also want to mention that I am fortunate enough to be working with a dear friend of mine Vicki Dvorak from Simply Hue. Her taste is really similar to mine so we will be curating different artists from around the world to be featured on the site. We have been fortunate enough to have these lovely artists sign up to be on the new site so far!
If you are a seller of beautiful lovely items please let us know about it. You can contact us HERE. Please visit the site at www.lovelyclusters.com or click on the "visit our shop" button on the top right hand corner that is now located on this blog. If you love the site and you want to share a page with your friends on twitter, facebook, tumblr etc you can by clicking on the share button at the bottom of almost every page. If you want to stay in the know of upcoming artists, giveaways and specials on the site you can sign up to our newsletter HERE or become a fan of our facebook page HERE. Hope you like it! Can you tell I am excited?!

Whats in a Name?

I just came across this message on flickr and it reminded me how I came up with the name Lovely Clusters. I think it may relate to the more technical term of clusters but it still made me smile even though flickr is down.
This is the image that sparked the idea from Rachel Ashwell on her wonderful blog all the way back on March 9th. I wrote down "Clusters of Loveliness'" in my notebook because I liked it so much. It kept coming back into my mind and then I started thinking how I could use this as a theme.
I am still not crazy about the word cluster because it's too close to clutter and who wants clutter but the word really does fit my type of posts and the more I come across people using this word I start to like it more. The definition from dictionary.com is: a number of things of the same kind, growing or held together; a bunch

Lovely Trends: Leo the Lion

I have been noticing that there are a lot of creative Leo bloggers. I find this to be no surprise because it takes a lot of ambition and creativity to keep up a blog. My birthday is in a few days and so that makes me a Leo too! Most people are surprised at first to find out that I am a Leo because I am not usually the type to strive for the center of attention but most of my qualities are very Leo. I think astrology is quite an interesting thing and I don't think it's always exactly right but I do believe there is some truth to it because the more I get to know about signs and people I am able to connect them pretty easily. Going back to me not being your typical noticable Leo has a lot to do with my rising sign and moon. They are both earth signs which makes me very grounded and organized. Basically it simmers down my fire sign. Okay now you may think I am going hippy dippy but you should seriously check it out and find out what yours is here. If you want to find out more about Leo's check out this link here.
