Color Cluster: Gray

Yesterday it poured most of the day and it made me so happy because I had been praying and wishing for it. It has been so muggy and hot here that all I wanted was for it to rain. It not only rained but it poured. It rained so hard that the internet went out. That wasn't good or maybe it was? I got a lot done yesterday like laundry, dishes and I even watched a great chick flick called Edge of Love with Keira Knightly and Sienna Miller. I loved the fashion and the interiors. Such a great feeling to watch a movie in the middle of the day with hot tea and the sound of the pouring rain. Wouldnt you agree? The cloudy skies of yesterday was the inspiration for this gray cluster post. Enjoy!

Color Cluster: Wood

After I made those wood banners I started to wonder how many things were made with wood or wood inspired on etsy and I found quite a few lovelies plus some others I had in my "wood" inspiration folder.

Rosie Music

I completely fell in love with this first illustration from Rosie Music because I just adore how cute the man and woman are together. They are both doing something artistic with their cats. I just love it! Her other illustrations are quite fun as well and I am really digging her music theme.

Speaking of music I never realized until recently how adorable it is when you see really little kids dance. We had a 2 year old at our wedding and he boogied down on that dance floor all night. It really was the cutest thing I have ever seen. If you are worried about getting people to dance at an event invite a dancing 2 year old and play disco and you are set! :)

New Look

So what do you guys think of the new banner and background? I needed some color and I wanted to clean it up a bit. I was thinking each season would have different colors.

Clusters from Trevor Hoehne

I was just looking through my web design folder of inspiration and I was intrigued by Trevor Hoehne's website design and so I decided to visit it to see how they layed out the photos and such and look what I found! A green cluster. What a coincidence, huh?
And a blue cluster!
Not only are his clusters gorgeous but his photos are too! Here is a little cluster I made of his photos.

Color Cluster: Green

Oh how I love green. It brings me peace, a sense of calm and happiness. You can hardly go wrong with this shade of green. It will always coordinate well with the trees. :)
