• Whenever I have friends or family come visit I like to take them on the "up north" tour. It consists of dragons teeth in Kapalua that has a labyrinth and you will most likely get to see turtles. Then we go up to Honolua Bay in hopes of seeing some great surfing. After that we go to blow hole and if they are feeling super adventurous we go all the way around and stop through the quaint and peaceful town of Kahakuloa where you can get some yummy banana bread. Hope you like my pictures from the tour I did with my cousin and her friend last week. Enjoy!

  • Having my cousin here on Maui has been great! She has been here several times but has never been to Lanai so we had to take her. I think people may not realize how easy it is to do a day trip to Lanai if you are staying on Maui. We usually take the early morning Ferry from Lahaina Harbor. It takes about an hour to get there and the Lanai harbor is walking distance to one of my most favorite beaches called Hulopoe. The sand is almost white and the water is great for swimming. We like to feel fancy and have lunch up at the four seasons to get out of the sun for a little while and then walk up to Sweet heart rock before sunset. We usually take the last ferry back to Lahaina Harbor. Its a nice little getaway for us.

  • My cousin and her friend are in town so I have been able to play tourist with them the past few days. Here are some photos when we went to Front Street in Lahaina. I showed them the Banyon Tree and walked up and down and checked out shops. It was a lovely day!

  • I spoiled myself today with a new Canon EOS 60D camera. I couldn't wait to get home and try it out. Hope you enjoy the few shots that I took today playing around with it. Loving the bokeh!
