This mood board feels a bit morose but I think it still came out really lovely. What do you think?

I love green accents with wood tones. These two spaces also have my favorite styles. The left has more of a vintage homey feel and the other has a really clean feel to it with mid century modern furniture. I want both. Which one would you choose?

Here are some pictures I have taken on my iphone (filtered in photoshop) in the last few weeks. I went on a whale watch on the boat my husband works on and it was a lot of fun. We also played disc golf at the poli poli course and the last two is Napili Bay on a cloudy day and a shot from our drive home from Costco. Enjoy! :)

The new and beautiful Gatherings White Issue is here! It's filled with beautiful photos of objects and spaces that are soothing and serene. Heather does such an amazing job of putting this together. I have been following her for a few years now because she has such lovely taste. Its so nice to get this magazine in my inbox because it lets me take a little breather from work and swoon page after page. :)

Today is not so mellow for me but I hope it is for you! I really wish there was more time to do all the things I want to do. I have a lot on my plate right now and am trying my hardest to just get it all done. Staying organized is helping because I know if I am not then it will only be harder in the end. I just have to remind myself to take it one step at a time and take a deep breath. Here's to another busy week!

With the new year here I have been doing a lot of thinking on how I would like to make things better in my life. I love this feeling of a fresh start and new beginnings. Looking at the path ahead of me gets me excited for my journey. I hope that your path for 2012 is a great one!
