• I had the opportunity to visit the pumpkin patch in Kula, Maui with some friends last Friday. We got there just in time before they closed which was right around sunset so I got some pretty cool photos. The Kula Farm is located higher up so the views are amazing. We also picked up some great pumpkins and carved them that night.

  • Is anyone getting excited for Halloween? I certainly am. I love Halloween and getting into costume. I always piece mine together and that is the most fun for me. I love getting creative with it. This year my husband and I are going as Aang and Katara from the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar the Last Airbender. Cant wait to put it all together! Hope everyone has a fun and safe time this year!

  • I just finished watching season one of Downton Abby and I was constantly fascinated by the clothing. I love all the beautiful details on the dresses the women wear including their lovely collars. The early 1900's was such a great time in fashion!

  • I woke up to rain this morning and it reminded me of my time spent in the northwest. I miss walking the trails in Oregon and Washington's large forests. I especially miss the smell of their trees and cool breezes.

  • When I first got into Interior Design about 10 years ago I tended to lean towards spaces that were very perfect looking. Color, balance, style, were all very harmonious but when I look at some of these interiors now I think they look too perfect and not as livable. When I was in college studying Interior Design I found that it is harder to create interior spaces that look effortlessly together. I have come to appreciate more room designs that have a lot of character and furniture and decor looks as if it took awhile to accumulate instead of buying everything at once.
