• My first trip to Lana'i was amazing! It was our friends birthday and he had been a few times so he was our tour guide taking us to all his favorite places. He also loves taking pictures so it was great because I got to really stop and take photos of some beautiful scenery including the property at the Four Seasons in Lana'i City. Just breathe taking! I will definitely be coming again soon!

    The last photo is my new tattoo! I am absolutely thrilled with the way it came out. I created the design using two different fonts that I liked and my tattoo artist cleaned it up a bit and enlarged my sketch and then made a stamp. She then added it to my arm where I felt it was centered and then she went to town! The pain wasn't too bad and it was a different pain then I was expecting I guess. It really was such an adrenaline rush and I can definitely see why people get addicted to it. I am already thinking about my next one. :)

  • We are heading to the island of Lana'i tomorrow and we will be leaving early in the morning to hop on the hour long ferry. Its our friends birthday and he wants to celebrate by camping and relaxing at Hulopoe Beach. I have never been on Lanai so I am excited for the new adventure!

    Unfortunately I wont be able to do a lot of swimming though because I just got my tattoo. It came out absolutely the way I wanted it to and I plan on taking some pictures soon along with my trip to Lana'i.

    Apparently Tuesday's at the movies is $5.00! I just found this out and I am pretty excited about it so I am going tonight with a group of friends to go see I am Number Four which is an "action packed thriller". 

    Tomorrow should be a pretty exciting day since I am going to go get my tattoo! I am definitely a little nervous about it but I have been talking to some people and I am feeling a bit better. Its going to be quick and hopefully not too painful since I am getting it on my wrist. (its going to be larger and a little different than this picture I took but this is the general look) Have you seen this pain chart? This is how I decided on the wrist because apparently the foot is super painful. Thank you everyone for your feedback and wonderful comments from my tattoo inspiration post! Wish me luck! :)

  • I am so excited to share with you our first ever print mention on Lovely Clusters! I just found out yesterday from sweet Jamie at City Chic Country Mouse that the issue is out! My mom, friend and I went looking for it at Barnes and Noble and Borders and they both don't have it yet so it might be a few more days before I actually get to hold it. Here is a peek that Jamie sent me. :) Yah!
