Hi Everyone! I am now back from the Northwest. I hope that you enjoyed all the pretty guest posts while I was away. My husband and I had a wonderful time and we got to see so many friends and family. I think we counted about 60! We got to eat at our favorite restaurants, see our favorite spots and spend quality time with both of our families and stopped in a few of our friends houses. We had such a great time but it is really good to be home. I caught a little head cold from the plane so I am taking it easy today. Here are some photos from our trip. :)

Hello all you lovely Lovely Clusters readers! I 'm Jackie of the blog Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle, where I post daily about fun and fresh finds in interior design, fashion and DIY. Do come visit sometime!Rachel so kindly asked if I would do a guest post for her while she was away, and of course I jumped at the chance to be over here on her wonderful blog. She mentioned she was going to be camping, and that got me dreaming of a warm and cozy fall trip to Big Sur, one of the most beautiful stretches of land and sea on the coast of California. I have vague memories of vacations there as a child, but am long overdue for a visit as an adult. When I think of Big Sur, images of rocky cliffs, icy waves and mist-filled redwood groves fill my mind. Not to mention the gorgeous luxury resorts scattered along the region! Which then brings to mind my new fall style obsession: "Glamping". Mix equal parts rugged (think flannels, cargos, boots) with glam (think glimmer, dresses and jewels) and there you have the fall fashion formula!Image credits: Top left Big Sur photo via Wild Nature Images, all other via ShopBop.com Fashion sources: Top Row: JCrew Silk Cargo Dress, Alexander Wang Striped Jersey Tee, Pamela Love Arrow Rope Necklace, Silence and Noise Sequin SweatshirtIf you won't be doing any luxury camping this fall, why not bring the fun to you with a Jonathan Adler "Big Sur" candle and by baking these delicious sounding smores cupcakes!Ahhh, yes-that will do the trick! I hope you enjoyed this little dose of fall inspiration as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Thank you Rachel for having me over!xoxo, Jackie

hello there! my name is leigh and i pen a little island style blog called hapa | hale. it is such a delight to meet you all and have the chance to guest post on lovely clusters. my days typically dwell in scouting modern hawaii design but my sweet escapes to rachel's romantic world of charming compilations and dreamy photoscapes is always a happy diversion.
our little archipelago in the pacific is home to a mix of people from the islands and far beyond who restyle vintage mu'umu'us into fetching new looks, harvest seashells from the shore to transform into ravishing adornment, and carefully construct pretties to complement life in the tropics.
i hope you enjoy this peek of a few recent favorites gathered from local designers who always make me smile with their refreshing, handcrafted spin on island style, plus glimpses of island life as seen through the looking glass of local photographers who capture the most swoon-worthy imagery.
happy camping rachel! and thank you again for the chance to share a hint of modern day island loveliness with your 'ohana (hawaiian for family).

Hi there, this is Lana from lanalou style and I am really excited to be visiting here on Lovely Clusters. Today I thought I'd post a bit of wintery inspiration to get us in the mood for the changing of the seasons. I'm really a Summer fan but the colour palettes for fall and winter can be so gorgeous. Lately I'm enjoying lots of moody greys, charcoals and natural colours with a few blue touches. Add texture and some essential black elements and you're set to go. I think Day Birger et Mikkelsen's Autumn Winter campaign is spot on. What do you think, are you ready for fall?

Hi Lovely Clusters readers! I'm Alli from Hooray, and while Rachel is off camping, I thought I'd share a little outdoor inspiration. As I write this, I'm headed out for a big camping trip, too, and cannot wait to be surrounded by the woods and to star gaze from our campsite at night. That, and eat lots of s'mores of course :)

Hello lovelies! It's Nancy here from Wolf and Willow, stopping by with a little guest love for Rachel. I'm thrilled to be posting on Lovely Clusters, as it's one of my fave daily reads. If I had to choose one thing I like most, it's Rachel's "lovely" flair for color. The way she pairs pretty pastels with bubbly brights just makes me smile! Today, I wanted to share one of my little secrets for choosing cute colors. It's as easy as picking a bunch of flowers...

Hello!! This is Ashley from Lemon and Lavender filling in for Rachel today while she is away!!! I am honored to be here sharing some inspiration with all of her lovely readers! Today's inspiration is all about summer. Although I live in the sunshine state (where summer lingers a little longer than most places) I will still miss those long summer nights and weekends at the beach. I am eager to welcome fall's fashion (especially boots) but don't these images make you wish summer lasted forever :) Enjoy ~AshleyRow 1. Mary Ruffle, Stone CrandallRow 2. Hi, I'm Trudi from beauty comma, and I'm delighted to be a guest here at Rachel's lovely blog.Rachel and her husband are moving into their new home these days, and Rachel's quite busy with the move and with redoing the house. So she might be a bit too tired to think of a housewarming party yet! But i think guests should help out when visiting, and since Rachel's blog is the perfect girly delight, I've planned a party for Rachel and all of us girls who enjoy visiting lovely clusters. Rachel's new house has got a yard, so it'll have to be a garden party, right? everything should be in order: decor, drinks, food, dessert and cakes - I hope you'll join us!image 1 [somethings hiding in there/flickr]image 2 [left: melanie acevedo/brides.com]image 2 [right: anna williams photography]image 3 [gia canali]image 4 [anna williams photography]image 5 [top: sundaysuppers.com] image 5 [bottom: sundaysuppers.com]image 6 [sundaysuppers.com]image 7 [pen & paper flowers]image 8 left [loretoidas/flickr]image 8 right [loretoidas/flickr]image 9 [beth helmstetter/zoe & griff]image 9 [via stylemepretty.com]Most of these photos are from food and wedding websites. The latter category might sound a bit over the top if you're just planning a small party at home, but I find websites like these to be great resources if one needs inspiration for themes, designs and colours for any party. And if you're not planning a party at the moment - well, you can still enjoy all the eye candy!
