Creative Bloggers & Sellers Showing Support for Haiti

When I heard that 45,000-50,000 people are dead and up to 3m affected in a single day I felt a huge sense of loss. What can you do when you are so far away? Checking out some of the tweets from my favorite bloggers and sellers I saw a huge support. Its so great to know that many creative bloggers and sellers are finding ways to give back so I have decided to compile a list of them here in this post.

  4. Rachel, *thank you* for posting about creative ways to help the relief effort in Haiti. There are so many non-profits out there rushing to do something, but Red Cross is already there, on the ground, and it's so easy to help aid their efforts:

Text “HAITI” to "90999" to make a $10 donation
to American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.

I too am having a hard time reading through posts about vintage dresses and winter boots when there is such a humanitarian crisis. Sigh. Anyway, whatever little bit we can do to help, right? Thanks for using your fabulous blog for such a great platform today. xo.

  5. Thank you for posting this. I'm actually surprised, because you're one of the few posts I ran across today that mentioned the Haiti earthquake and relief effort. So, thank you for your willingness to step up and help.

  6. I hope you don't mind, but I referenced your blog in mine so that people know there are stores they can buy from that are trying to help with the relief fund.
