I also received a really nice paper trimmer. The kind that cuts downward instead of the slider that I have been using. I am pretty excited about this gift because it can cut multiple sheets at one time and it cuts the vintage wallpaper so smoothly! What were some of your favorite gifts this year? All photos by me. :)I first saw these beautiful books on Design Sponge last year around Christmas and I instantly added it to my wish list but unfortunately they weren't available in the States. I saw them on Anthropologie in November and I told my husband that I wanted them for Christmas and I got them! I received three to start; Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Wuthering Heights. I want to end up collecting them all and pass them down to my children in the future. I cant wait to start reading them!
I also wanted to share with you this beautiful and very thoughtful present I received from Danni from Oh Hello Friend. She is such a sweetie!!

One of my favorite clusters right now on Lovely Clusters is the photography one. Vicki has found some very talented photographers lately and it really makes the site feel so beautiful! One of the contributors to this cluster is Donna Geissler and she has many stunning photos that feel quite magical and dreamy. Some of them look like paintings similar to Manet. I wouldn't even know where to begin to make photos this beautiful!

I recommend checking out more of Donna Geisslers photos. Enjoy!

Okay so I am not really a Bicycle thief. I just liked the title and I had this song called "I am a bicycle thief" from Freezepop stuck in my head. Just thought I would mention that to start. :) Our friend from Michigan was telling us about a place called Mackinac Island where there are no cars. There is only one ambulance truck and that's it. Everyone gets around by horse drawn carriages and yep you guessed it bicycles! Can you imagine living in a place like that?
On my hunt for bicycle photos I came across these lovely illustrations as well!

I was just catching up on some blogs and I fortunately came across this beautiful website called Miss Etoile from the lovely Lobster and Swan. I thought I would just show you some of my favorites which by the way wasn't easy to pick out because I wanted to add almost everything! So many pretties with a Hollywood glamour meets granny chic look! Flipping through her catalog was like a dream.

Another post I used to do on Design Lovely which was fairly new was the color swatch post. These are great for designers who are looking for an idea of what the client wants. I recently had a client find a beautiful color scheme from 100 layer cake and we used it throughout her branding. Website, business card and tags. I just got all the printed work in the mail so I will have to show you once I get some pics! I saw this image awhile back and the colors instantly striked with me. I love that it feels holidayish but not in the traditional sense. So fun!
