Design Lovely Blowout Sale!

I am currently offering all of my single cards at $2.00! w/ free shipping and I am only selling one of each. I am changing what I carry on my etsy shop. I am still going to make greeting cards for the retail stores that I carry them in. They seem to do a lot better in stores which makes sense because cards are usually, at least for me the last thing you purchase after you get the gift. I like to color coordinate my gifts. :)

Here are the ones that are left!

Here is the packaging for one that I sold yesterday to the fabulous Anna from In Honor of Design

Here is packaging from the Flower Collecting Card that I sold to Hooray Design!

So I really want to get into sewing when I have enough time to do it and I already have some ideas of what I want to sew. I sort of just want to make different things and see how it goes. I also thought about finding beautiful vintage finds so I might do a mixture. I have been filling up my inspiration folder of all these things I want to make! My drive for this is mainly to do things off of the computer. I am web and graphic designer and I occasionally work on Interior Design. So I am on the computer a lot! I find it really relaxing to just sew, cut, paste, or whatever and it is so rewarding to see a physical thing in front of you when you are done. I know that a lot of you know what I mean. Hopefully I will have some new things to show you soon!

Any ideas for what I should make?

  6. Hee, I couldn't resist, your cards were such a steal! Since you're interested in sewing, I kind of like the idea of playing around a bit until you find something you love to make + adapt, and just sell what comes up :)! I've been so inspired by your mom's shop, but then I have all this lace lying around and all these vintage dresses I keep snapping up, and then all these jewelry findings :D -- I'm wondering if a mix will really be so well accepted :D But if you've got a whole sewing theme going -- that totally counts, right :)? Good luck!
